Sterling Global Commerce was founded from a passion for sustainable international business practices and a commitment to ethical trade. After building successful ventures in Mumbai and London, we strategically established our European hub in Helsinki, Finland, providing a stable and transparent gateway to the EU and Nordic markets. This allows us to navigate global market dynamics and deliver reliable, long-term partnerships.
Sterling Global Commerce Oy (Private Limited) unites two strategic pillars that define our vision and mission:
A. Sustainable Agri-Value Chains — connecting farmers and food suppliers in emerging markets with buyers in OECD nations, creating traceable, equitable, and market-ready supply chains.
B. Clean Energy & Renewable Technology Partnerships — enabling certified solar, storage, and energy-efficiency projects across Europe and Asia, supporting the energy transition and sustainable industrial development.

Led by Founder & Managing Director Sajid Qureshi, our team brings decades of cross-border expertise in both sustainable agri-value chains and renewable energy partnerships. Sajid Qureshi — Founder & Managing Director
Visionary Leadership
Sajid is an experienced international business strategist with a proven track record across multiple industries. He brings a strong focus on ethical, efficient, and sustainable business practices, connecting innovative solutions—including agri produce and clean energy—with global markets. His approach emphasises transparent, traceable value chains that create meaningful impact for producers, communities, and buyers. Reflecting in Sterling GC’s mission which is guided by the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a particular focus on SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
Academic Background
He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and an MBA in International Marketing & Sustainable Product Development from Cardiff University, UK. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP, USA) and a Certified Soft Skills & Technical Trainer (Stream University, Canada).
Professional Journey
Starting as an IT specialist in 2002, he gained early experience in client relations and international business operations before moving into global fresh produce trade. He held senior roles managing suppliers and clients across India, Dubai, and France, which inspired his passion for global trade. His entrepreneurial journey includes founding East Land International (Mumbai, 2006) and Sterling Global London (2013). In 2025, he strategically relocated operations to Helsinki, Finland, positioning Sterling GC at the gateway to Europe to serve partners across the EU and Nordics.

He is dedicated to aligning business success with social impact, redefining international commerce for farmers in emerging markets, buyers in OECD nations, and partners in the clean energy sector. Arpan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, India, and an MBA in Project Management from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland, specialising in Agile, Risk Management, and Strategic Leadership in Global Business.

Arpan’s career spans roles from Security Engineer Intern to Cloud Security Specialist, with experience across banking, pharma, and technology sectors. His expertise blends technical proficiency with strategic business leadership.
